Job Overview: 

We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable truck drivers to join our team. As a truck driver for Valley Trucking Services, LLC, you will be responsible for safely operating and transporting goods across local routes while adhering to all traffic laws and company safety standards. 

​

Key Responsibilities: 

· Safely drive company-owned trucks on designated routes, delivering freight to various locations. 

· Ensure the proper loading and unloading of freight, securing cargo to prevent damage. 

· Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the truck to ensure it is in good working condition. 

· Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel use, and other necessary documentation. 

· Adhere to all traffic regulations, safety procedures, and company policies. 

· Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to ensure timely deliveries. 

· Report any mechanical issues promptly. 

· Keep the truck clean and organized and follow all DOT regulations and guidelines. 

· Perform other duties as required by the dispatcher and management team.

Requirements: 

· Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with a clean driving record. 

· At least 2 years of experience driving Class A vehicles or other relevant driving experience. 

· Ability to pass a DOT drug test and physical examination. 

· Strong understanding of truck safety and handling. 

· Excellent communication and time-management skills. 

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. 

· Must be flexible with work hours, including weekends and nights, as required.

Preferred Qualifications: 

· Experience with flatbed, reefer, or tanker trucks is a plus. 

· Previous experience with route planning and customer service.
